At Community Church, we host all of the following events…

GENERAL GUIDELINES

Community Church offers the temporary use of rental spaces as specifically designated in our Church, located at 116 Florida Street, River Ridge, La. 70123.  Rental spaces are designed to meet general needs for activities such as classes, lectures, discussion groups, panels, seminars, luncheons, ministry services, weddings, funerals and conferences.
Please note that rental use is based on availability. Community Church and its regularly attending and giving members have priority. Community organizations and groups may rent space, pending availability, for events such as educational meetings and public health-related activities in keeping with Community Church’s mission and vision.
Community Church does not allow use of its meeting facilities for commercial, political or social activities or functions.

Reservations

  • Reservations are required for all rental spaces at Community Church. Reservations must be made via our website. Community Church does not accept reservation requests via phone or in-person.
  • Rental requests must be completed at least two weeks and no more twelve months in advance. Groups may schedule meeting space up to two consecutive days and up to 3 consecutive weeks.
  • Once the online reservation request form is completed, you will be forwarded to a Facility Rental Agreement and Invoice. No reservation is considered confirmed until request form is completed, rental agreement is electronically signed and submitted and deposit is received and processed.

Rental Fee Waivers:

  • Community Church will waive room rental fees for meetings hosted by Community Church and ministry affiliates, provided our learners, members, church partners, and/or staff are invited attendees for the event.
  • Community Church will waive room rental fees for classes, meetings, lectures hosted by Community Church’s academic partners, providing the educational programming is being offered to our learners.
  • Community Church will offer a 20% discount to local civic associations and non-profit (501c3) organizations hosting informational or educational events; pending administrative approval.

Maintenance Fees

  • Outside organizations whether receiving a rental fee waiver or discount will be charged a $150 maintenance fee for use of Community Church facilities. This fee covers room setup, breakdown and cleaning.

Change Order Fee Schedule

  • $150.00      Requests received within 3 days of planned event
  • $225.00      Requests received within 2 business days of planned event
  • $300.00      Requests received within 1 business day of planned event

Facility Rental Hours

  • The rental spaces are available Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • The sanctuary may be reserved between the hours of 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Sunday for an additional fee of $200. This charge will be applied even if the room rental is waived or discounted.
  • All rentals must be concluded within their allotted times. Rentals include 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the scheduled meeting time for setup and breakdown. Community Church will charge an extra $25 per every 15 minutes over this allotted time.

Catering

  • All catering and table linen must be ordered through Community Church’s Food Service Department, Community Church’s in-house caterer.
  • Alcoholic beverages may NOT be served for any reason including evening or weekend events.
  • Outside catering is allowed but vendor must prepare all food prior to bringing to our facilities. No cooking will be allowed onsite. No boiled seafood allowed. Outside caterer must show proof of liability coverage. No exceptions will be given.

Parking

  • Parking in the Community Church’s parking lot is available per seat up to 59 spaces. Parking attendance fee is $200 per half day. This fee is required for events over 50 persons.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance of rental date to receive a refund of deposit. No refunds will be made for cancellations made less than two weeks.

 

 

Speaking

  • To request the speaking of Pastor Tanner or any other ministers, fees will vary starting at $500 per event. Prices can range from $500 –  $1500 depending on the occasion/event (ie. weddings, funerals, etc.). This payment is separate from parking, facility or catering fees. 

Rental Fees

  • Community Church’s rental fees are based on specified rental space for a half day (up to four hours) or full day (up to eight hours). Facility fees include use of the approved space. It does NOT include room set-up, use of in-room audio/visual equipment and janitorial services following the event.

Grounds

  • Community Church’s grounds, including outside property and courtyards on the campus, are not available for meetings or special events without approval from Community Church administration.

Smoking

  • Community Church is a smoke free facility. Smoking, vaping or smokeless tobacco is not allowed in any area of the facility or grounds, including parking areas.

Equipment or exhibits

  • Advance approval is required for any electronic equipment brought into the facility. No nails, tacks, tape of any type of adhesive may be placed on doors, walls, ceilings of furniture.  Easels and signs are permitted on the exterior of the rental spaces, but may not block the corridors.  Community Church does not provide easels.

Noise levels

  • For the comfort of our neighbors and staff, all noise levels, including music and conversation, must be kept at an acceptable level and not disturb the church’s daily operations.

Security

  • Security is not provided with conference room rental.

Weddings
