WHAT TO EXPECT

There’s nothing quite like visiting a new church for the first time; there are so many new faces and strange places, and it feels as if you stand out. You’re not alone—we have all been there. When you arrive at Community you’ll be welcomed into a friendly, casual environment by people who are excited to see you! Our Guest Services team is throughout our building to help assist you with any questions or needs you may have.

A time to learn. Each service is about 120 minutes long and includes high-energy, live worship. You’ll also hear an engaging and thought-provoking message from the Bible taught by lead pastor Robert Tanner, Jr. or another Community pastor. Our host pastor will wrap up the service with an invitation to respond to the message and pray with a team member. 

A place to connect. The Lighthouse is the perfect place to connect and learn more about Community. Have a question? Curious what your next step is at Community? Swing by the Lighthouse in the atrium before or after service — we would love to personally meet you and give you a gift!

A place just for kids. Each weekend at Community Little Learners, newborns through Pre-K learn the truth about who God is and who they are because of Him through age-specific lessons, interactive elements, small groups, and trusted adult leadership. If your baby gets fussy, we also have a dedicated room for mothers and infants (located at the front of the worship center).

A time for community. Community Youth gives middle and high schoolers a place to connect with each other and with God at our weekly community groups. 

A piping hot (or ice cold) drink. The Community Cafe serves up some of the best coffee and breakfast treats in River Ridge. Come a few minutes early, grab a cup and enjoy. The Community Cafe is open during Sunday services (8:30 am-12:30 pm) and special events.
